Description

A trip to the Everest camp is a seductive journey through the world of Tibetan Buddhism surrounded by the majestic Himalayas. The journey to Everest through the Khumbu Valley is not only a walking holiday; for many it is a mystical experience that leaves memories forever.

Our adventure with Nepal has a long history. We have been organizing hiking and climbing to Mount Everest since 2000, our company is based in Kathmandu. We offer excellent travel advice and tips on weather conditions and what to be prepared for. We can give you a trekking permit before your visit.

The trekking distance on Everest is about 92 kilometers. Each day starts at 8:30 am. The tour is slow and the route is acclimatizing and includes two days of rest on the ascent. At the beginning of the hike, the distances are not long. Most trekking days end at noon.

It is popular to say that you have to “climb” Everest Base Camp, but it’s a pure hike. The area is well-trodden so it is perfect for peaceful excursions. The last section is a glacial moraine which does not require any special equipment. The route is devoid of steep spots that require the use of a rope, although there are several high footbridges that cross the Dudh Kosi River several times below Namche Bazar. Once they were defective wooden structures, now they have been replaced with solid and safe metal walkways.
